Who You Choose Matters
As a recognized board certified handwriting examiner with 23 years of experience, my opinion will be based on a thorough examination, using forensic principles and methods. Discover the true forensic value and merit of the evidence in your case and know the next steps.
Here are some helpful materials to help you:
Initially, I will evaluate your evidence and discuss with you a realistic estimate of my billable fees so you can advise your client about an estimated cost for forensic testing. At the conclusion of my tests, I will provide a verbal opinion to you and you may also request:
- a Written Report with or without illustrations of the forensics features that I used in forming my opinion. To view my recent article about composing expert reports in compliance with Federal Rule 26(a)(2)(B) click here.
- a pre-trial conference (here are suggested questions for voir dire while presenting me as your testifying expert in court)
- court exhibits and my appearance in court as your expert witness
- my service as your rebuttal witness
My Experience and Credentials
In 2011, I was awarded certification from the Board of Forensic Document Examiners (BFDE), a hallmark in my career. Since the BFDE started certifying forensic professionals in 2006, fewer than twenty-five forensic document examiners worldwide have acheived this distinction. The BFDE is accredited by the Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board (FSAB). The goal of FSAB is “to establish a mechanism whereby the forensic community can assess, recognize, and monitor organizations or professional boards that certify individual forensic scientists or other forensic specialists.”
I am a technical expert and member of the ASTM Committee E30-Forensic Sciences. American Society for Testing and Materials is a globally recognized leader in the development and delivery of standards for use in commercial, legal, forensic and other professions.
